B.Sc. It prepares students to work as anaesthesia technicians, assisting anaesthetists (doctors or medical professionals who administer anaesthesia) in hospitals, operating rooms, and clinics.

1. What is B.Sc. Anaesthesia Technology?

  • Definition: The program focuses on the use of medical equipment and techniques related to anaesthesia administration and monitoring. It teaches the skills required to assist anaesthetists in performing anaesthesia procedures, ensuring patient safety during surgeries and other medical procedures.

  • Focus Areas:

    • Equipment maintenance (e.g., ventilators, anaesthesia machines).

    • Patient monitoring (vital signs, oxygenation, ventilation).
